Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday and had the Meltdown burger, which is a patty melt on rye, with fries. Others at my table had the brisket sandwich. Both options were really good. The burger was flavorful and juicy. The brisket was perfectly smoky and had some meaty cheese over the top. Delicious. The menu is expansive and has something for everyone.

Food was decent overall. I ordered a New York strip and it was a bit tough. Service was not fantastic but forgivable since they were busy. The catch in our meal came when I got my New York strip and the waitress had put shrimp on top of it that I didn't order. She told me she would leave it on the table and just take it off the bill because I didn't order it. That was fine. When the check came, she added the shrimp to it. We reminded her that I didn't order it and she said, "Well, I didn't add the drink that the other person in your party ordered so there you go." There's a whole lot of difference between a $2 drink and a $6 add-on I didn't order. Disappointed in the way business was conducted. I will not be back.

My favorite place to eat in Sparta. Wonderful food and friendly staff. Love the New Orleans decor
But note that their hours on here are wrong. They close at 3:00 on Sunday's. -

Hit and miss restaurant. It's really good when it's good but disappointing when it's not. Average quality of food but the best in the area. The menu is quite diverse offering traditional American but also Cajun as well. The atmosphere and decor is nice. Overall it's a nice place to go when you want to eat out at a restaurant in town.

Fantastic food from a great staff. We were in town for the AIM Grand Nationals. After our first visit we had to go back two more times to get our fill. One night they even opened back up with the owner doing the cooking. Best wait staff I have ever had. This is a must stop place when in Sparta.
